Jina ku di 11 saliya xwe de ji menopause xilas bû, cêwîyên xwe anîn dinyayê

The girl, whom doctors promised at the age of 13 that she would never have children, managed to become the mother of twins. True, they are genetically alien to her.

Menopause – this word is associated with the age of “somewhere over 50”. The ovarian reserve of the ovaries ends, the reproductive function fades away, and a new era begins in a woman’s life. For Amanda Hill, this era began when she was only 11 years old.

“My first period started when I was 10. And when I was 11, it stopped completely. At 13, I was diagnosed with premature ovarian aging and ovarian failure and was told that I would never have children, ”says Amanda.

It seems like at the age of 13 and there is nothing to steam about – who at that age thinks about children? But since childhood, Amanda dreamed of a big family. Therefore, I fell into a serious depression, from which I could not get out for another three years.

“Over the years, I began to realize that conceiving naturally is not the only way to become a mother. I got hope, ”the girl continues.

Amanda decided on IVF. Her husband fully supported her in this, he also wanted to raise children in common with his wife. For obvious reasons, the girl did not have her own eggs, so it was necessary to find a donor. They found a suitable option from the catalog of anonymous donors: “I was looking through the description, I wanted to find someone who looked like me, at least in words. I found a girl my height with eyes the same color as mine. “

In total, Amanda and her husband spent about 1,5 million rubles on IVF – almost 15 thousand pounds sterling. Hormone therapy, artificial insemination, implantation – everything went perfectly. In due time, the couple had a son. The boy was named Orin.

“I was afraid that I would not have an emotional connection with him. After all, genetically we are strangers to each other. But all doubts disappeared when I saw the features of Tom, my husband in Orin’s face, ”says the young mother. According to her, she even compared Tom’s childhood photos with Orin and found more and more in common. “They’re just the same!” – the girl smiles.

Two years after the birth of Orina, Amanda decided on a second round of IVF, especially since there was still an embryo left from the last time. “I wanted Orin to have a little brother or sister so he didn’t feel lonely,” she explains. And again everything worked out: Orin’s twin brother, Tylen, was born.

“So strange, they are twins, but Tylen spent two years in the freezer. But now we are all together and very happy, – added Amanda. “Orin is too young to know that she and Tylen are twins. But he just adores his little brother. “
