Russula aurea belongs to the class Agaricomycetes, Russula family.

The growth area is very large, the fungus is found everywhere in the forests of Europe, Asia, North America. Prefers to grow in small groups.

The structure of the pulp is dense, it has no smell, the taste is slightly sweet. Bitterness is absent. The tuberculate spores of Russula aurata have ribs that form a reticulum.
