rûvî (lat. Lactarius subdulcis) is a fungus in the genus Milkweed (lat. Lactarius) of the Russulaceae family.

rûvî is a very beautiful and interesting mushroom, it is reddish-red, small in size. There is a hat with a diameter of up to 8 centimeters. She has a slightly tucked out edges or a completely flat surface. These mushrooms secrete a lot of milky juice on the inside of the cap. First white, and then it becomes translucent. It stands out quite actively. rûvî located on a leg of medium length and thickness. She’s a little lighter in color.

This mushroom can be easily found in different forests if you pay attention to moss deposits. It is best to collect them from mid-summer to mid-autumn.

The mushroom is considered edible, but for eating it must be boiled or salted so that it does not harm health. Under no circumstances should it be eaten raw.
