The French Pavilion: the diversity of French agriculture in the spotlight

The France Pavilion offers activities for the whole family around the theme of “producing and feeding differently”.  The architecture of the building emphasizes woodworking and is designed as both a market hall, a cathedral, a barn and a cellar. The following will be highlighted: French agriculture, fishing, aquaculture and agrifood over nearly 3 m², of which 600 m² are built.

Don’t miss the agricultural garden. It testifies to one of the French specificities: the diversity of agricultural landscapes. Families discover a succession of crops in the land: cereals, mixed crops, and market gardening. On site, farmers will take care of the 60 species of plants presented.

 Young audiences will be able to take advantage of various educational, fun, physical and digital devices …

Expo Milano: an entire weekend dedicated to children

Children are spoiled: the weekend from May 31 to June 1, specific activities will be devoted to them to visit the pavilions and have fun at the same time.

 Do not miss the large interactive park of nearly 3 m² with top rides and entertainment.

-Saturday May 31 morning, two sessions of animated readings are offered: “Self-confident, to welcome the world” for children from six to ten years old. A second session with: “Celebrating differences to respect others”, for children aged three to six.

– Saturday 31 May afternoon : designer Giulio Iacchetti will introduce children to design: from ideas to the project, from craftsmanship to product. Free entry for children from six to ten years old. Another meeting: the designer Matteo Ragni, in person, will present his famous Tobeus carts, multicolored and in wood.

– Sunday June 1, the group “Pinksi the Whale” will host free readings throughout the day. Then, children and families will be invited to a moment of pure madness at Spazio Sforza.

The day will end with the architect Lorenzo Palmeri. Children will discover musical instruments made from recycled material.
