There is one little-known feature in Microsoft Word since the days of DOS. Let’s say you want to move the contents of a Word document from one place to another, but you want to keep what has already been copied to the clipboard.

There are a couple of ways that you can quickly and easily cut (copy) and paste information using the keyboard and mouse. And these are not the usual combinations: Ctrl + X for cutting, Ctrl + C kopî kirin û Ctrl + V to insert.

First, select the content you want to move (you can select items such as text, pictures, and tables).

Keep the selection and move to the location in the document where you want to paste or copy the content. Clicking on this place is not necessary yet.

If you want to copy text to another location without removing it from its original position in the document, hold down the keys Shift + Ctrl and right-click where you want to paste the selected text.

The advantage of this method is that it does not use the clipboard. And if any data was already placed on the clipboard before you moved or copied the text, it will remain there after your actions.
