Well-made make-up is a face decoration that emphasizes our strengths. The condition here is the ability to emphasize what we have attractive, without the effect of exaggeration and artificiality. However, there are make-up mistakes that not so much disfigure instead of beautify, but cause skin problems that can be avoided.

The skin likes to be clean, well-hydrated and well-groomed. Then it repays us in the form of a radiant and healthy appearance. Too heavy make-up, wrong foundation or powder, lack of thorough make-up removal – all this causes the skin to turn grey, more prone to the formation of blackheads and pimples, and to age faster.

Mistake #1: old and dirty

Keeping old cosmetics in general is not good for the complexion, but one of the biggest enemies of a nice look is old mascara. It must be replaced regularly, bearing in mind that its useful life cannot exceed six months. Why? Well, old ink can hurt your eyes. Cause tearing, burning, irritation.

Contrary to the Internet advice on various beauty websites that talk about tricks to refresh the old ink, you must not do it – by pouring various things into the ink, putting it in hot water, we only cause bacteria to multiply. Take care of your eyes and replace your mascara every six months.

The second issue is the cleanliness of the tools you use to apply your makeup. One brush should not be used for powder, foundation, blush, contouring, etc. – you should have a separate tool for everything. In addition, brushes should be washed once a week, preferably with a delicate hair shampoo. Then, dry the brush gently with a tissue or paper towel, leave it to dry in a horizontal position. By following this advice, you not only wash off the accumulated products, but also the bacteria present on the brushes.

Mistake #2: Dry Skin

Dry skin ages, causes excessive sebum production, therefore contributes to the formation of pustules and – of course – does not look nice. The foundation should be applied to a smooth face (that’s why it’s best to use a peeling regularly), thanks to which you won’t have to use too much of it and avoid the mask effect. In addition, you need to use a suitable cream or base under the foundation.

You can also replace the foundation with a BB cream, which gives a delicate effect of smoothing the skin and evens out the color, as well as optimal hydration and healthy-looking skin. BB creams (especially Asian ones) contain high SPF filters and a lot of substances beneficial to the skin, so it is worth considering their choice as a substitute or as a substitute for foundation.

Mistake number 3: lack of makeup removal

The last mistake is a problem for many women: no make-up removal or insufficient make-up removal. Even if you go to bed very late, you fall off your feet, removing makeup must be an obligatory activity before bedtime. The remnants of foundation and powder contribute to the formation of acne, and the remnants of mascara, crayons, shadows can irritate the eyes.
